I want to share with you all something that has helped me get over the feeling of not knowing, uncertainty, or from being uncomfortable with people and with your understanding. Sometimes we all come across something that just doesn't make sense us. Or even something we just don't know. So what do we do? We dismiss it. But what if you take that same thing you dont know or doesn't make sense and put it in the crock pot. You have it on your back burner and go about your business. As the the crock pot is slowly cooking, you get some more answers. For example. With the economy low, the crime rate has risen to its all time high. More people become desperate. Lets say you go to the coffee shop one morning for some coffee and you notice that the boy behind the counter is acting a little wierd. You think nothing of it and move on. Two Weeks later 4 people in your community have been buglarized and you fear you may be next. Instead of dismissing it, put it in the crock pot on your back burner. In doing so, you see this same boy driving back and forth on your street 2 days later. Put it in the crock pot. The next day, you see him looking over your neighbors fence. These are things that add up in your crock pot on your back burner. How does this relate to learning quick? When puting things on the back burner until you get more information helps you understand quick enough for you to be preventive. Imagine this when your looking for opportunities. You don't want to wait until someone else takes your idea to actually do it yourself. You want to watch out for it, let it stew a bit until you get enough information to do something. You should never dismiss something because you don't know. That's how we lose. This helped me over come bullies, being outcasted by a school, being alone with no one home everyday, and for being home sick for many years. This will help you build your knowledge, your network, and your success. Take heed and pass it along.
